Default GW in need of new drop system.

Cmon, who hates dieing and having a gold or an ecto or a shard dropping for you? It is the most annoying thing even. I will admit that I just "stole" an ecto. By that I mean, while the battle raged and the ecto dropped, the peron it was assigned to, unfortunatly died of a accidental fire accident with a dryder. There was fire everywhere. But none the less, I now have the ecto. And I plan to give it back. But back to the point, if you die or go AFK or something of the sort, the drop should still be for you when you come back. No more "HAH im not going to rez you bc i want ur drop, u r liek teh nuborzzzzz". I say it needs to be fixed. All of my friends have both gained or lost, well both really, through the currect drop system.
Thank you all for reading.

I see nothing wrong with the drop system. The problem which you speak of is totaly the community. Many times something I like has dropped and I was the last one alive, I am not a jerk so of course I rez them so they can get it. Don't get mad at the game over human error.

I feel the drop system is wonderful in this game, of course I did play D2 (every man for himself drop style) for a long time so im use to having to settle for whatever is left over from other people.

I see your point Nilator, But i agree with ultimate - I also have played D2, and i like the drop system much better in guild wars, You just have to hope your playing with nice enough people or make sure that you don't die.

Unfortunately if it works like D2, then the Wars would be getting the most drops...since they're in front...

I think the drop system should give you longer to pick up items...
I was dead by the banshees in fow and my ecto was a free drop and someone ran over nicked my ecto and spoilt the game for all. itd work better with a longer time

The timeout on drops should pause for the time player is dead to prevent stupid stuff from happening. Easy solution.
